STEVE BELL
Steve Bell is a consultant to Encima Global, primarily focusing on Washington legislative and fiscal policy. In recent years, Bell served as Chief of Staff to Senator Pete Domenici, directing and implementing Senator Domenici's work on the Senate Budget Committee, the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee and the Senate Appropriations Committee. From 1986 to 1996, Bell was a Managing Director at Salomon Brothers. He opened the company's Washington, D.C. office, was chief political advisor to the firm's Chairman (including Warren Buffett) and provided political analysis to Salomon clients. From 1981 until 1986, Bell was Staff Director of the Senate Budget Committee, developing the first budget reconciliation process. Bell was a weekly legislative and political analyst at CNN television for ten years and now appears frequently on Fox.
